Profile: Originally from Dubbo, Robert started his apprenticeship at Jinchilla Gardens a restaurant and tea house set in a Botanical Garden in Dubbo NSW.

Robert then continued his apprenticeship at the 5 Star Fairmont Resort in Leura.

As a team member of the Fairmont Resort he added to his achievements one of the most outstanding establishment awards - Medallist in the 26th International Salon Culinaire Restaurant of Champions and also the NSW Tourism Award for Excellence in Industry Training in the Private Sector in 1994

Robert moved to Port Macquarie and continued his training and ran the Crays Waterfront Restaurant. As a team member, the Restaurant was nominated for Finalist - Restaurant of the Year for the 2nd Annual RCIA (Restaurant & Catering Industry Association of NSW) and was declared winning Seafood Restaurant of the Year in 1997.

Robert finished his training at Bennelong, Sydney Opera House and was understudy to the Head Chef. 3 Hat Standard.

Robert moved back to Dubbo where he worked one of the prominent Hotel’s in the Central West Region.
