The Blue Room
Over the years, The Blue Room’s menu has evolved with the changing tastes of Australian diners.
It features what executive chef Brad Whittaker calls ‘modern Australian cuisine’.
“Australians have come so far in the past 10 years,” said Brad.
“We’re far more adventurous with our food than we were a decade ago.
“People are not only more aware of what they’re eating, they’re more interested.
“As soon as someone finds out what I do for a living these days, they want to talk food.”
The Blue Room’s chefs are to be credited with the restaurants success and this has been demonstrated with the awards that received over the past seven years.
David Carolan is the Head Chef in the Blue room and he has completed in the Clubs NSW Chefs Table since its conception.
David and his team have been finalist every year and have receive a second place and third place on two occasions in the Club NSW Chefs Table.
The Blue Room has also been recognized in the Restaurant & Catering Association “Awards for Excellence” being regional winner of the Best Club or Pub Restaurant several times.
“The Blue Room can match almost any restaurant on the Gold Coast,” said David.
“We all take pride in our work and that’s reflected in the service and quality we offer here.
“The Blue Room is truly one of the region’s great restaurants.”
