With a sparkling new high tech kitchen, a new restaurant and event facilities, diggers @ the entrance has turned up the heat with the addition of a new Executive Chef.
The accomplished and talented Rod Stanley has joined the diggers team and is busy preparing his exciting cuisine for diggers members and guests to experience. Chef Rod, brings with him over 20 years experience working within the club industry. Trained in New Zealand through London based company, City & Guilds, Rod has fine-tuned his culinary expertise working in Hotels & Restaurants throughout Australia and The Pacific.
The impressive new facilities offer fantastic water views over Tuggerah Lakes and the menu focuses on fresh produce with a modern take on the old classics coupled with some new healthy lifestyle dishes, something for everyone!
Begin with oysters natural or kilpatrick or maybe the special mezze Bites Sampler for 2. There is a choice of salads and healthy options, but if you are hungry the pasta dishes or meat from the grill will keep you satisfied. Of course the favourite fish 'n chips is always on the menu, along with chicken schnitzel and roast of the day. The kidlets aren't forgotten with four mains all including a soft drink and followed by ice cream for no more than $10.50 (visitors price)
There are also $10 lunch specials for members only, Mondays through Fridays.
